Sweet jeep. I heard that jeeps were hard to find and very expensive over there. Is that what you noticed. Have fun with it.

Hey thanks guys. Actually It depends on the model. YJ are fairly common. TJs are a bit less common (most with 2.5s) and JKs are...worth their weight in gold lol. I've seen only three JKs in over three years. And I know the owner of one of them. He had it imported from CA. $$$$$!

So are there a lot of folks out there that like to wheel? Is that something that is common? I know that when I was in Koh Samui Thailand it was just more of a daily life sort of thing for the people who lived in the Mt. area of the island. What takes you all the way out there? Work / military? Girlfriend lol?

It's not as common a lifestyle as it is in the States but there are a bunch of us out here. The general population kinda sees us as dirty hicks but I've seen a few rich guys cruising around Taipei in decked out imported JKs. I'm sure that's helping to legitimize us a bit LOL! BTW, there are less than a handful of JKs on the island. All of them are imported...$$$$$

My wife who I met in collage back in NY is Taiwanese. We came to visit a while back and I loved it so much we decided to move here. The people are super nice, weather is always warm, and the crime is low enough that I don't have to worry about expensive parts walking away from my rig every time I park in a dark alley king

Here are some pics of our group

That's me second guy back

I find it very cool that the pictures of the Jeep could be from any where in the U.S., but they are from 1/2 way around the world.

Pretty cool.
