Yes sir. As for now it will be his whenever he comes to visit and I can use it when I need it. No plans yet for him to take it with him, maybe he will change his mind after I am done fixing it.

| So far I need to replace the engine oil pan gasket, transmission pan gasket, and t-case gasket. They are all leaking. The engine is leaking a lot. This should be an easy fix.
The steering box has a leak so the steering pump fluid level was almost empty. The steering was super hard when I got it. I put some more power steering fluid in it and it got better but its still hard, like something is jamming it a bit. Any idea what it could be?
I want to do all the mechanical work before I start fixing the cosmetic things.
This is going to be a fun long project. I cant wait to start but first I need to finish a few things to the wrangler. My guess I should start working on this truck early next year but we will see if I can wait that long.

| Thanks guys!!
It needs a lot of work. The driver’s floor has a big hole, so I need to replace it as well as both rocker panels and lower door sections, plus I need to fix random rust areas.
The engine has a leak at the timing chain cover and not the oil pan gasket as I thought (already replaced the oil pan gasket). So I will be replacing the taming chain cover gasket soon. Beside the leak, the engine is strong! I took it for a drive on a new closed/empty street at neighborhood, and the truck can go fast! I didn’t floor it all the way because I still need to check the brakes but I was impress. |
