| You might try a search of the online national salvage/used parts dealers. The first one I tried list 17 JK frames ($1100-$2200). Some 2 doors and some 4 doors. Closest one I found in my 3 minute search was in Tennesse though.
Just curious as to what your going to do with it? |

| I tried to get mine back after the stupid insurance company decided it need to be replaced...the only thing that was damaged on it was that bar that drops down just under the bumper, I was going to cut it off anyway. Would have made for a fun project starter... |

| Yeah, I was pissed...at first I had talked them out of it, but then the insurance lawyers chimed in and said, nope...gotta replace the whole thing. The adjuster was okay with not replacing it...as long as I agreed to it.
There's no telling what they jacked up when swapping the frame...I've already found a few small things. |

| Frame swap is pretty easy. But yes, now if anything is bent on a frame they will total it. |

| My bash bar has been beat up and my rear crossmember has a good dent in it too I need to double check, but I think the last time I was underneath my jeep I noticed bent body mounts. _________________ 08 4 door....BANANAMAN yellow round tires.... some stuff added.... more stuff wanted.... even more stuff needed /I _I_,[____], L-I_I_I -OIIIIIIO- ()_)....()_) ... | thanks for the heads up on this. It is about 5 hours from here but I am headed up there to pick it up....Now the fun can begin. Strip the JK out, put the running gear on this frame and start surgically implanting the 53 Chevy on it. |
