A friend purchased an old CJ7 and it needs a lot of work - new seats especially lol so I was seeing if anyone had any parts laying around that they are wanting to get rid of. Thanks

I have the original low back seats for my CJ. They need to be recovered. By the time you recover the seats you will have spent more money than buying new ones. Hook your friend up with Quadratec, or River City Offroad and get some prices. The seats I am using now are from 4wpts.

Donor seats can found anywhere. I have used Nissan Sentra seats, camaro leather seats, Trans am seats, VW seats. Any seat that has a flat bottom mounting surface and a thin seat bottom will work fine. Adapet plates are easy to make using 3/16 x 2" flat bar. Drill holes and mount tot he seat and then drill holes to match the seat brackets. I use YJ flip up seat brackets in every CJ I have built.

What other type of parts? If he needs springs or is doing a lift i strongly suggest YJ springs for the front and rear and depending on what it will be used for a shackle reversal. I only the Shackle reversal if it will be used one the road 99% of the time like my Scrambler. Most CJ and YJ parts will interchange.
