I have been wanting some lights for my XJ and saw these at the Harbor Freight store for $24. http://www.harborfreight.com/off-road-long-range-truck-light-system-3029.html I decided I would test them on my Sheriffs Ride (since Im out in that truck more often). I installed them in about an hour. The kit comes everything you need (wiring, switch, fuses (already mounted in the wire))...its basically idiot proof. All I had to do was splice in some longer wires since my siren box/control was located under the back seat. I mounted mine on the my grill guard and might spring for two more if I like them. Depending on how they do, Ill probably spring for more for my XJ and Sheriffs Ride. I like the fact that they cost $24 vs $60+ for the PIAA, KC, ARB lights. Pics!

yup, theyre decent lights for the price been running them on the JK for a couple of years now. They really rock with a $30 HID upgrade off of ebay stuck in them used to have 4 on the windshield corners and 2 on the bumper, but after HID-ifying them I ditched a pr off the WS

just search for "H3 HID conversion" and theres plenty on there - just make sure the kit has bulbs and ballasts most of the buy it nows are in the $50 area but I managed to get both my kits for about $30 each - one was an auction for a full kit and the other I bought the bulbs for $12 shipped and 2x ballasts for $20 shipped - took a couple of weeks for them to get here from china but they were worth the wait. The bulbs were a tight fit, but I got em in there - theyre a little larger on the back of the bulb than a regular halogen, but they definitely wont rattle If you're short on space, try to find a kit with the slimline ballasts. Standard ballasts are about the size of a pack of cigarettes. Oh and for maximum usable light, you want 6000K color temp. much brighter and lower current draw is a win win I'd just advise against wiring them as wigwags, HIDs arent gonna like the constant power cycling. thats why I left the 2 lights in my grill where the factory turn signals were as halogens - theyre wired for wigwag.

Just installed a couple of these. Replaced the factory driving lights. Extremely happy and if they are destroyed, no big loss.
