| How often do you all end up re-balancing your tires - once, twice, never?? I've been noticing a slight vibration once I get up around 60+mph (it could just be the Jeep saying "oh no...not this fast for my little engine!!"). I think it may be the tires. It's not a big vibration, just a little annoying. My KM2's have about 15k miles and I haven't re-balanced them yet.
Thanks in advance, Art |

| Have you rotated them yet? I rotate mine every 2-3 oil changes or 10,000 mile just for that reason. Once they start to ware uneven they will never run right again. As far as rebalancing them it wouldn't hurt to do it every 20,000 or once a year. _________________ Life is too short to spend it with idiots! 3in Full Traction Premium Plus, Bilstien 5100 shocks, Bilstien 5100 steering stabilizer, 35x12.50x17 Toyo open country M/T, AEV Wheels, Lightforce 170, Rugged Ridge light bar, BesTop bikini top & duster, Superchip Programmer, Superior 5.13's and axle tube seals, Poison Spyder diff covers, Xenon H.I.D. headlights & driving lights. |

Yeah, I rotated them about a thousand miles ago. Will probably swing by Discount Tire when I get some free time. |

| Probably just uneven ware. My tires had uneven ware and started vibrating a little after I rotated them (had been about 25K miles). Been about 2 months now and they seem to have settled out. _________________ 08 4 door....BANANAMAN yellow round tires.... some stuff added.... more stuff wanted.... even more stuff needed /I _I_,[____], L-I_I_I -OIIIIIIO- ()_)....()_) ... | I rotate my tires every 5-7K miles. They wear pretty even that way. I also rotate in the spare tire. |

| New tires will take a while to "break in" it varies with size and brand. Just like a fan belt. Before the serpentine days you would have to re adjust 2-3000 mile down the road. A new tire is the same way. The belts are moving around in the carcass until they find their "happy place". After this, the only time they need balancing is when you loose a weight off of the wheel, or bend a wheel. Rotating is crucial to long tire life.
In a nut shell you folks are on track! |

| I had a hell of a time getting my GY military 37"s on humvee beadlocks balanced had discount balance them and they made them worse
finally said screw it and put 4000 airsoft BBs in each and now they're smooth as silk up to 90
cost about $20 total and they rebalance themselves every time you start rolling |
