I'm a no go for sure now!!! I've been working the wife to go and almost had it. Now if it's in august the kids will be in school already. Sad

My kids first day of school is August 22nd. So that gives most of us plenty of time.
We could go August 6th thru August 13th.

Another option is to incorporate the July 4th weekend.
That way it will be one day less we all need to take off from work.

My kids go to school year round. Their first day is July 26th then off the 27th and half days 28th & 29th so the first week wouldn't really matter, but a full week of school?!? But don't worry about me I wasn't even a maybe yet!

Ok guys per Renee's email:

"Date: July 1st leaving at 7pm sharp
Returning: July 10th or whenever you need to"

I got these days approved at work today so my girlfriend and I will be making this trip. I will probably leave Corpus around 4-5pm to meet with you guys before 7pm on the 1st.

The condo at $193 per person (7 nights) sounds good to me. I will probably make a reservation sometime this month once I know who is going.

Can't wait!

I booked our room today, we are at Rim Village (unit A3) if you want to see pics, we have our own private hot tub and a 2 car garage Smile Rates are $210.00 per night, I booked for July 2 through July 8th.

Rim Village is 5 miles from downtown but tax rate is 8.95% verses 12.35% if we were directly in town

Ok just made the reservation. I got unit T4. Not too far from A3. It’s a 3 bedroom 2 bath for $200 + tax a night. It has the same accommodations as the one Renee reserved but it doesn’t have the hot tub.

They look great! So exited for this trip! Now we just need more people to confirm and we will be set. If not I might have to change to a smaller unit. I think we have somewhere around 12 confirmed.
