| I just added my -Yaesu FT7900R 2m VHF/UHF 440 to the Jeep. (Ham Radio) It gives me one more way to communicate out in the field. You just never know when an emergency could happen and I never can get service with my cell phone on the trail. It is also more fun to talk with locally than the CB. I can use a repeater and easily go 40-50 miles out. It has 50 watts of power so it's not bad for a mobile. I also have NOAA weather. Matched it up with a Comet antenna on the back tailgate. Hopefully I will get to play with it some this week. I have been listening to the local airports and police as well. |

| It wasn't too difficult. They have a 300 question pool with the correct answers. You need to study them and pass a 30 question test. I just studied all of them and took the test. |
