PostSubject: Marshall's Jeep Build Day 3   Fri 23 Apr 2010, 4:24 pm

Marshalls brackets came in and we are going to see if we can get them tack welded to the axles and the arms in place on Saturday, if anyone is available we would love to have you. We are going to Randy's in the evening.

I will have Egg McMuffins (homemade) for breakfast and hotdogs and beer for lunch.

Figured I would put Marshall's rig pics here.

It is ready for a "Master Welder", I think Daniel will help us out here.

Next items to wok on:

Putting in the fuel cell
Figure out what to do for steering
Measure for the brackets on the front axle

That's cool.

Jeff, Sascha did I read a post that ya'll are available Thur to maybe do some work with Marshall, or did I just dream it? The reason I ask, is, I have something for Renee and if you guys are going to turn wrenches on Thursday, I'd like to stop by and play a little. Could have sworn I saw a post, but I have searched for such thread to no avail.

We got the fuel cell installed and the jeep is running, yea! We started on the front axle today, got as far as we could go (need help in removing ??? (need bearing remover tool) ??, the next few days we will put on the hinges for the gate (it will be a drop down), and install the comp rear fenders.
