between my house and my in-laws out in BFE there are lots of animals. if i could afford one of those xmitter bars i would as it thows light everywhere until then i'll keep throwing a little light in all directions in hopes of seeing some glowing eyes before we meet. |
Hummmmmm Lets try this. Your driving out in the country with all 1 milloin lights on, waiting to see those deer eyes! There they are your coming around a corner and you see um! Two little eyes right on the side of the road! You think to yourself "Thank god for these lights if I didn't have them I would have never seen him" Just as that thought went through your mind a big 4 door diesel truck comes around the corner you blind him with your million lights and he smashes into you! Your Jeep is now totalled and you and your loved ones are being life flighted to the nearest hospital which is 45 miles away cause you had to go drive in the country with a bizillion lights on your stupid Jeep!!
Ahhh yeah I will just stick with my little ole factory headlight!_________________ If you can't play with the big dogs then get off the porch! | Mr.RonGilbert wrote: | | It's like when you hear a fire truck with it's sirens full blast.... you just have to take a look at what is getting flamed..... |

| If you ever wheel at night you will appreciate a gazillion lights. Well you don't need a gazillion, but a few auxiliary spots in front and at least one in back can come in handy in a lot of situations. |

| As pointed out as long as your doing night trail riding and your moving at a reasonably slow speed they are usefull especially on the JK's. Rock crawling lights are helpfull to anyone who enjoys doing that at night (Why im not sure), and in some cases they just add personality and look cool. I personally just have the stock head lights and I'm not sure if I ever plan on installing any new lights simply because I dont go wheeling at night. (especially alone, where I would have to rely on my crappy lights) As far as using them on the highway I find that to be somewhat suspect. It blinds other drivers and if your on a two lane road they can pose some problems for on coming traffic. Just my .2c Tyler |

| I think that was one of the first upgrades to my Jeep was adding a couple of lights on it so i could actually see the road. But i think their should be a limit on how many you can actually fit on a Jeep. But i know also that as you get older, new glasses makes seeing at night so much better.... |

| q gazillion lights are great for when oncoming cars at night 'flash' you to say the factory lights are too bright. BLAM. they learn quick.
oh and for FAQers on the highway that won't move out of the left passing lane! |
