I have not heard from Dan at Clines, but that doesn't mean anything, he may have planned the day for off-roading.

There is not a set agenda, different areas plan different things to do.

Yeah, just found their meetup web site. It looks like theirs is different as with yours compared to what is listed on the allthingsjeep site (cline ranch). Are all of these basically the same, just a meet up and drive down some road or beach or is the Cline Ranch more of a larger meetup for the region? I sent the organizer of the Galveston one an email and if these are all the same, looks like I have a change of plans. Right now and pretty much since January, I have had this weekend schedule to go to Cline Ranch expecting that to be the "Texas" event, not realizing their were others all around. ?confused?

So here is what I found on Houston Jeep People's website...

Meetup Location: 6702 Seawall Wal-Mart
Where: Galveston/San Luis Pass/Crystal Beach
When: May 8, 2010 11:00AM
Pre-meetup: Wal-Mart parking lot on Seawall at 11:00AM. We will hang out there for a little while waiting for everyone to show up, then we will convoy down to San Luis Pass.

Lil Sassy & I are bringing both JEEPs...

Wow thats a long drive, we have a chapter in Houston not sure what they are up to, I could check, but if your comiing this way we would love to have you, it will be fun. We will take a slow drive up to River Rd in Gruene, stop at the lake for pics then head for a burger and beer then home, its about a 3 hour event. Call me Sat if you running late or can't come, we want to make sure we have everyone before leaving the meeting location. Renee 210-389-5630

I will try to make it. I really want to go. Like Todd mentioned, I am in the middle of changing my TJ’s timing chain; I started yesterday after work; and hopefully I will finish before Saturday but I only have a few hours after work to work on it so we will see.

I will sure be at the beach run on May 22nd and it’s on my plans to go to K2 on Memorial Day weekend.
