PostSubject: JK TUBE FENDERS   Sun 14 Feb 2010, 4:51 pm

Heres the work i have done so far .... If anyone has the ability to do CAD i have all the templates on wood, I also have access to my uncles plasma cutting machine so we could knock out some more of these and could change them up a bit!! one other cool thing I came across while building these fenders is what I wanna call FENDER SKINS!! Basically they mount in pre existing holes and they would cover all the humps, bumps, and other not so pretty holes. heres a pic of them these were cut by hand so if I had a CAD of these they could be perfect or even modified to be better.

heres what i have done so far I got to finish the weldind grind and paint!!!

Those look great! If I could do work like that, I'd build all my goodies for the jeep, why pay someone else? Nice.

Renee tell me more about the "box" in the tub. I'm looking for something with secure storage, so curious to see what ya'll got goin' on. Would you consider "pimping" Bobby out for some box in the tub work?

Sorry to hijack Go tube fenders go

Looking great! I wanted to do a similar thing, but just cut the plate to fit the well and bolt it on with no actual fender. Still gonna get around to making them one of these days. Nice work.

The box Bobby is building has a diamond plate sheet that covers the tub with a box underneath that has a drawer that pulls out. I'll get pics and start posting what he has done so far.

I like your box the way it is counter sunk into the bed, very nice!
