Guys,

This year I could really use some help on a couple items for this meet, if anyone is willing to take on a task please let me know, here are a couple areas where help is needed.

Help can be taking on the task as a whole or just helping with one.

Door Prizes
Organizing the dinner
T-Shirts
Putting up flyers

I will work on the shirts - I am no artist so send me your ideas unless there is a logo that we have to use.

I am not good at creativity myself

I will start a thread on Jeep ideas... draw it up and get it ready - if the shirts are mine it will be the membership that decides everything, I will just coordinate.

Ron - I can help with the graphics...I eat that stuff up and I kinda have time on my hands right now...I know you know the feeling! Let me know.

e really ought to try and get Trail Duty involved in this deal. I don't really know the man, but he seems like one of the prime choices from a sponsorship standpoint.

Renee I can try to help out on some of the door prizes, I know a few vendors that I can try to call in favors with.

Renee, I can put flyers up from temple to dallas just send them my way........and i'm sure there are a few others in my chapter that dont mind helping putting some up.


as far as the dinner are looking for a cater? or someone to cook? the reason I ask is i have some family in the catering business that might be able to give us a deal.

While that is an awesome idea. It would be a very complicated design to have printed on shirts. And for the low amount we'll be ordering, the price would be ridiculous. Need to keep it simple. Obviously a single-side design is least expensive. Personally I prefer the designs on the back side. But we can leave that decision to the group.

I fly to Dallas on a regular basis, so could stop by some of the 4x4 shops to drop off flyers. Just e-mail me the pdf so i can make copies at the office.

i can drop off flyers and contact some sponsors.

I like Terrahawk's idea for the shirt .

I was talking with James from RDM Offroad about some lights he was selling in a post on JKO. I mentioned the TSJM, and if he would like to sponser something or donate a door prize. He said to count him in, and have someone send him the event info and he would put something together. Score one for the Biz. Now if only I could sell Cup Scout popcorn that well.
