I`m glad you decided on a handheld unit. Be interesting to see how this works on a trail

so far i've had no trouble. I dont get good reception from far away but i think thats because i have a small cb antenna. the nice thing about the handheld is that it is a scanner too.

I have a wide body Cobra 29 LTD, similar to the one that Jeeper Jennie has, but from her pic I really cant tell where it is at, the Pass side where my old lady put her knees?

yes but a little lower and to the left next to the dash. just have to be careful. the weight can cause it can pull the panel off and cause it all to fall to floor if it's bouned around to hard. I have a similar set up.

I have the same Cobra 75 CB as N2Rock. However Crux and myself installed the main box between the center consol next to the hand brake. It is not in the consol taking up the limited space we have there.
I didn't want to connector to be out and in plain view.
Now the lid of the consol hides the connector.

(Hope this makes sense!!!)
