| So I have a strange noise coming from i think the muffler on my 07 Sahara, I first noticed it last week but it went away shortly after driving it. But tonight it started and continued through out my drive home!!!
It almost sounds like there is an obstruction in the muffler somewhere as the noise is not in a rhythmic cadence. Is there a chance that one of my muffler baffles has come loose or is it something worse???
Has anyone else had this issue??? :banghead: |

| Is it just noise, or is there a difference in idle & acceleration? _________________ FAIL TO PLAN.....IS A PLAN TO FAIL.

| the only difference i have noticed is when it is idling. I have the soft top on right now so it is hard to tell a difference while in motion, there is a noticeable difference in frequency of sounds say when i am idling and close all the windows in the jeep, the sound will speed up with the draw on power. If that makes sense!!! |

| Mine makes a weird noise like that. It sounds like light guage metall slapping against other light guage metal. I haven't actually crawled under my jeep to inspect it, but I am assuming it's something on my exhaust, because it will do it more vibrantly at idle than at acceleration. I haven't worried about it yet, cuz it doesn't sound like anything serious..... |
