Got the tunes loaded on the iPod and iPhone, CB's working well and piped through the car speakers, Check Engine light went out, Spiderweb Shade Top is nice and snug, cooler will be tucked away behind the back seat, and I'll be topping off the gas tank later.

What all do I need to bring in regards to food and drink? It seems like a lot of people are bringing a lot of extra stuff, but I think we might be light on the extras. I might have to pick up a couple cases of Shiner, though, a tin of SNUS, and a couple packs of smokes to make sure everyone's good Smile

Oh yeah, I need to pick up a length of chain for hooking to people's axles to pull them out of the sand Very Happy

I am just bringing stuff for one meal on the beach. too much work with kids. Hope the restaurants are open.

I am sure there are enough tow straps between us that you won't need a chain, but if you insist.

I used to use a chain instead of a strap. Lot harder on the vehicles but they don't wear out. Still have my trusty old chain actually. 36 ft long, 25,000 lb aircraft tiedown chain. Has pulled many a vehicle out of the mud.

Well, then it should be a no brainer. You still have to buy food and drink here in town. So it will cost you the same as staying in San Antone!!!

Are you camping? If so, I am sure it is a cheap trip? All you need is Beer and food.
