I have a buddy and his wife coming with us on the trip and I told my friend that they can’t bring his truck, that they have to bring his wife’s Jeep Cherokee....

you can take your truck, but you have to atleast pull your jeep behind it........

I just mapquested this and I guess it is a 5 hour drive.
I might take my truck instead of the Jeep. Would you still let me join you guy's on this Jeep excursion.

Rocio and I are driving to Matagorda early Friday morning. I want to be on the beach around lunch time. I don't want to take a day off and waste it on sitting at home in the morning.

Anybody else want to leave early is welcome to caravan up with us.

Ok, I've been out of touch for a while so forgive me...what is the date of this trip?

we were planning on getting a beach house but have not found one big enough for the group we have so we are still looking....

Of course! And that solves the whole toilet question, too...

OK, and with that out there in front of god and everybody, I've now put myself down to go and that I will be camping, though this is by no means locked in stone. I may still cave in the face of showers and A/C. A friend of mine may come along, depending on if his wife's already got the weekend claimed, leaving him with the kids. I don't know whether I'll actually be there Friday morning, depending on whether I can get the day off work, but we'll see see.
