Well I fiinally pulled the triger on some new tires for my rig, KM2s - 285/75/r16 which measures a 32.8" diameter. However now my spare tire doesn't fit on the factory mount so I need to either get a new rear bumper with tire carrier or adjust the factory mount some how. Check it out.

Since I now have slightly bigger wheels and tires, I'm sure stopping distance is increased, plus I pull a trailer around on a regular basis (single axle, 12' w/o brakes), I suspect larger rotors and heavier calipers would be of benefit. Whats the word on where to look, &/or what to look for. And vented for the rear? Tire size - I think, is LT315/r70-17 - if I am remembering right - dick cepek tires and wheels. Thanks... Ok, this isn't really rolling rubber, but its stopping them. ...

I'm looking into getting new shoes for my ride, but my 2" lift (springs and shocks) will only fit 32x10.5 size tire. Im gonna go with KM2s so I can fit 265 75 r16s with no problems (hopefully). But I would like to get 33s so I'm wondering if I could get coil spaces ontop of my already longer springs.

Does anybody have any advice/experience with this, or does 1" really make that big of a diffrence ? - in tire preformace that is.

ps. I really don't want to do a body lift ...

I've had a 2008 2-door Sahara for almost a year and have kept it completely stock up until now. I'd like to add a reasonable lift kit (2"-3"), wheels/tires and quick disconnects to make it more rock-able. However, I also use it as my only means of transportation. Any suggestions on lift type (TeraFlex vs Rough Country) and make/size of tires for everyday driving AND off-roading? Thanks!
