It has a rough finish on the inside edge and the color does not match any interior plastic . The fitment in the cupholder holes is good, it seems like it will stay in place . I get a great patten across the road at night when they are angled right. I have not noticed any glare from the hood but I do notice alot of the light is lost on the hood and just refelcts up.
