I just ordered an aeroforce interceptor for the JK. Should be here in about 2 weeks. Good news is that is DOES NOT lock to the vin, so anyone that needs a tire size or gear ratio changed can swing by the house (with the appropriate Bud Light donation of course...) and get it done for free. I will let everyone know how it works when I get it in. Anyone interested in getting their own, marylandspeed.com has them for $219 with free shipping. It is supposed to be able to increase idle for winching ...

Thinking about getting a 1" Body Lift. Any particular brand I should look at? Daystar, M.O.R.E, RC, etc? It looks like most folks run the M.O.R.E. kit. Any cons to a 1" BL other than the gap above the rear bumper?

Background info to support my question above: I am currently running stock Rubi suspension, tires, and wheels with a TeraFlex Leveling Kit. I am thinking about moving up to 33s. My plans all along have been to get the TeraFlex 2.5" Coil Lift since it is affordable ...

TJ Gear Question

My dad is thinking about regearing his '03 TJ Rubi - auto with the 4.0 Straight 6. He has about a 6" lift and 35s. I know most folks that regear a JK go with 5.13 and those that went with 4.88 wish they would have gone with 5.13. My dad is thinking about 4.56 or 4.88. Anyone have any advice about which gears to run with the 4.0 and TJ drivetrain? The gear selection needs to consider that it's his DD and he sometimes may pull a small utility trailer.

I have decided to replace stock gears with 5.38's. Hope I like them. Thou 99.9% will be street/hiway use. Need to check funds, but would it be wise to replace at least the front axles with the "chromoly" axles while things are apart? Granted, I won't be in 4wd very often, but, I am also considering getting a sno-plow to use with this thing. I'm figuring the rear are much easier to replace and if that were to happen, I could do it. Fronts - I could I think, but time involved ...

With EVO corners and Tire Carrier!

I went with the fenderless corners with the tube added to the bottom of the corner. I don't plan on running a bumper right now, that is why I got the tube added to protect the corners when descending an obstacle. They seem very solid. The tire carrier is heavy, but very solid.
