It's been a while since I've posted here, but I felt the need to say something. With everything going on like G's parents house burning down and Todds mom going to the ER, I just thought I'd share. It is so great to have a bunch of folks like all of you to call friends. It still amazes me to see all the positive posts that pour in when things like these happen. And it's not just members doing what they think should be done, but sincerely offering condolenses and their help. I remember it when ...

So our install party was a success! We had 11 adults, 2 kids, 1 dog & 7 Jeeps in attendance! The parts were installed...for the most part. There`s always a missing thingy. As far as the crowd, what can I say, they`re jeepers. I don`t know any other group of enthusiasts that can get together, and just get along. Jeepers are for the most part, just down to earth people. A perfect example is as the meeting is in full swing, I get a call from PJ. I was hoping they would be able to make it ...

New Jeep Feeling

I thought I`d share the feelings I had when I purchased a new Jeep. My first Jeep was an `89 Sahara that we got used in `93. We bought it when we lived in Pismo Beach, Ca. Man that was a fun time. I actually moved the Jeep here, and had her until she burned almost to the ground in my driveway. Had some "professional" manifold resurfacing done, and they screwed something up. Picked her up from the "golden" shop, drove her home, and she burst into flames ! We were able to ...

Captains log..........

Not much going on in my Jeep world except for the fact that as some of you already know, I managed to get myself kicked off of the JK-forum. when I spent time on there in the past, I noticed that the administrator seemed to be on a very tall high horse. He often would flame members for posting their thoughts and opinions. I understand he`s running a business there, and honestly I don`t have a problem with someone wanting to run it that way. But there`s no need to resort to some of the tactics ...
