And it has nothing to do with this trip. Think it was last Wednesday, that I was back at home drunk already at 2PM, because of them...lol. However Brandi informed me this morning (which I do agree), we need to get a house first! |

| I put my doors on a few days ago. Gonna keep them on since I don't feel like burying them in the sand on the beach. I figured since we are camping we may need the shelter if it rains, or want some AC. |

I assume that means by this address right here, correct?
If so, what's the best way to get to that side of town at that hour from Fiesta Texas? |

| The soft lowers are coming off when we get there. Doorless is the only way to ride, but getting beat up by the wind sucks. Maybe if the convoy's populated by slowpokes, I'll pull over and take them off, but if we're driving at normal highway speed (say 75 or so), the wind buffeting gets tiring after a few hours... |

| no worries... But yeah I've done it many times. Her's is a year old now, has been in tons of mud, and the doors have never been off. I was expecting it to be a little fight. The passenger side actually surprised me by sliding right up. The drivers side though is not showing any love. It will be fine come morning I'm sure. |

| I know this isn't the first time you've done this, but just to make sure all bases are covered, you are swinging the door fully open and nearly closed while lifting up, right? As compared to just pulling up? Makes a huge difference. Worst case scenario, take a floor jack and put a 4x4 block on it and slowly and carefully jack it up until it's loose...
Like I said, I'm sure it's unnecessary unsolicited advice, but you never know... |

| we're both running down with doors & tops on. Saturday morning we're going to stash the doors and my trektop in the motel room.
This will be the first time Shannon's doors have ever been off! I was just out there removing the bolts and checking that the doors will come out of the hinges. The passenger side lifted right out. The drivers side barely budged. So I got it lifted about 1/8" and Shannon sprayed WD40 in there. Let it sit overnight and it will probably lift right out in the morning |

| For road trips I always have in the soft lowers. You get beat up by the wind a helluvalot lot less. I'll probably bring the uppers along just in case, too. I can usually tuck them in behind the back seat, but with the cooler back there, I may just leave them at home and hope for the best (re: rain).
Then again I'm debating whether the back seat is necessary at all. I leave it in because I often go to lunch with coworker friends and end up being the driver, but not sure that's really necessary this time out. I'll probably leave it in anyway, just in case.

| Is anyone driving down without their doors? I am considering it since I have had them off for most of the summer. This would be the longest trip doorless. |
